Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission (SSA), Assam has released a job notification for the recruitment of 1346 Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) (Social Science) and Upper Primary (Maths & Science) Assistant Teacher vacancy in Lower Primary and Upper Primary School on contractual basis under the Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission.You can apply Online. SSA Assam Teacher Recruitment 2022:Details

1. Assistant Teacher (LP)

No of posts: 1143 [UR: 0, EWS: 0, SC: 3, STP: 433, STH: 646, OBC/MOBC: 0, PWD: 61]

 

2. Assistant Teacher (UP- Social Science)

No of posts: 135 [UR: 0, EWS: 0, SC: 0, STP: 20, STH: 98, OBC/MOBC: 11, PWD: 6]

 

3. Assistant Teacher (UP- Maths & Science)

No of posts: 68 [UR: 0, EWS: 0, SC: 2, STP: 22, STH: 38, OBC/MOBC: 3, PWD: 3] 

Eligibility Criteria of SSA Assam Teacher Recruitment

Age Limit:

The minimum age is 18 years for all candidates and the maximum age is 40 years for the unreserved category, 43 years for OBC/MOBC and 45 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Parsons with Disability (PwD) as on 1st January’2020 as per Government Office Memorandum vide No.ABP.6/2016/51, dated 02.09.2020. This relaxation shall be applicable only ta those candidates who have attained the necessary educational or other qualifications prior to crossing their existing upper age limit of 40 years.

Educational Qualification:

Assistant Teacher (LP)

At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes

Or-

At least 45% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations,2002.

-Or-

At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

-Or-

Al least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education)

-Or-

Graduation from UGC recognized University with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes

-Or-

Graduation or Post Graduation* with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with LP- TET and Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University **

*As per NCTE Notification vide FNo. NCTE-Reg/012//22/20 19- US(Regulation)-HQ, dated 13.11.2019

*The appointee who is appointed on the basis of qualification of Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) shall mandatorily undergo a Six-month bridge course in Elementary Education recognized by the National council for Teacher Education(NCTE) within two years of the appointment.

[5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST (P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC & PH candidates]

Assistant Teacher (UP- Social Science):

Graduation from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes

Graduation or Post Graduation* with al least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University

-Or-

Graduation with at least 45% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 1-year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

-Or-

Graduation with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 1-year Bachelor in Education (Special Education) from recognized institutes/University

Assistant Teacher (UP- Maths & Science)

B.Sc. from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes

-Or-

B.Sc. or M.Sc.* with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University

~Or-

B.Sc. with at least 45% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 1-year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations issued from time fo time in this regard.

B.Sc. with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 1-year Bachelor in Education (Special Education) from recognized institutes/University
