Assam HS 1st Year Online Admission 2023 Notification:
Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) order to process the admission of students into HS First Year courses for the session 2023-24
in different institutions (Universities/Degree Colleges/Senior Secondary Schools/Higher Secondary
Schools) under AHSEC, the "DARPAN" admission portal.The online Admission process is start from 7th June to 18th June. Students who have passed HSLC exam this year may apply online for HS first-year courses under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) for the academic session 2022-2023.
The students will be able to submit their applications through online for admission into different
institutions by visiting www.darpan.ahseconline.in or www.ahsec.assam.gov.in.
HS 1st Year Online Admission 2023 – Higher Secondary Admission
The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has started the online admission process for the 1st year of Higher Secondary (HS) courses for the academic session 2023-2024. The online application process will start on May 29, 2023 and will close on June 9, 2023.
Students can apply for admission to any of the following courses:
- Science
- Commerce
- Arts
Note:
The Darpan Portal will open from 29th May for the candidates or students of the following categories:
a) Who doesn't get admission in any institutes they have applied.
b) Who haven't yet applied in any institutes.
c) Who haven't registered in DARPAN yet.

Required Documents For Assam HS 1st Year Online Admission 2023
Candidates can apply for admission online through the AHSEC website. The following documents are required to apply online:
# Passport Size Photo.
# Mobile Number
# HSLC Pass Marksheet.
# Caste Certificate (If Applicable).
Online Admission Process of Assam HS 1st Year 2023:
Students who passed HSLC 2023 exam and want to get admission into the Higher Secondary 1st year courses in different Institutions including Universities/ Degree Colleges/ Senior Secondary Schools/ Higher Secondary Schools under the AHSEC must apply online.

Step 2: Click on HS 1st Year Online Admission link.
Step 3: A portal will load, click on Register a new Account link.
Step 4: Next you need to enter your personal and educational details as required by the portal.
Step 5: Upload scan copy of passport sized photograph and 10th mark sheet.
Step 6: Next choose a 4 digit Login PIN and click on register button .
Step 2: Click on HS 1st Year Online Admission link.
Step 3: A portal will load, click on Register a new Account link.
Step 4: Next you need to enter your personal and educational details as required by the portal.
Step 5: Upload scan copy of passport sized photograph and 10th mark sheet.
Step 6: Next choose a 4 digit Login PIN and click on register button .
Step 7: Next again click on HS 1st Year Online Admission link and log in again.
Step 8: Select your desired course and colleges/ schools . You may choose maximum five institutions in order of their preference for admission.
Step 9: At the end, click on submit button and take a print of submitted form for future reference .
Step 10: Please do check the portal regularly for updates. You will be notified through the portal which institution(s) you have been selected for admission.

Assam HS 1st Year Admission Merit List 2023:
The category-wise Assam HS Admission 2023 Merit List will be available on the Darpan portal. The merit list will be published by the concerned institutions.
The merit list for admission to HS 1st year will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the HSLC (Class 10) examination.
Accordingly, the seat allotment are going to be available online for all students and that they need to get admitted to their desired or allotted institution/ colleges within stipulated time-frame
The merit list is going to be published by 12th June 2023. Students will have to select the school or college of their choice within 2023 by visiting Darpan portal.
How to Check AHSEC Admission Merit List 2023
The merit list will be prepared by the colleges and schools on the basis of their performance in the HSLC/ AHM examination. Step to check category-wise Assam HS Admission 2023 Merit List, follow the mentioned steps:

# Click on HS 1st Year Merit List link.
# A new page will open then enter your Mobile Number, Date of Birth, PIN and click Login.
# After click on Login Darpan portal dashboard will be opened.
# Then, Click on application submitted button.
# Here you will see the all of your submitted application for colleges/schools.
# Against the each of school/ college, you will see a notice whether you selected or not or in a waiting list.
Institute Selection
Candidates will be able to select their preferred institute from the list of available institutes. The institute selection will be done on the basis of the merit list.
Final Admission
The final admission will be done after the institute selection process is completed. Candidates will have to submit the original documents to the institute at the time of admission.
