NF Railway Apprentice Recruitment: Notification

Northeast Frontier Railway (NF Railway)  is inviting applications via online mode on its website i.e. nfr.indianrailways.gov.in. for the recruitment of 5636 Act Apprentice Vacancy for imparting training under the Apprentices Act 1961 in the various trades at different Workshops/ Units. Interested candidates may apply online on or before 30 June 2022.

NF Railway Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks, in aggregate, from a recognized Board and also possess National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training.

NF Railway Apprentice Age Limit:

Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 01.04.2022.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in the case of SC/ST candidates, 3 years in the case of OBC candidates, and 10 years for Persons with Disability candidates.

NF Railway Apprentice Application Fee:

UR/ OBC/ MOBC/ Others: Rs. 100/-

SC/ ST, PWD & Women Candidates: Nil

Payment Mode: Debit card/ credit card/internet Banking

NF Apprentice 2022 Selection Process:

# Selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared (trade wise, unit-wise, community-wise).

# The merit list in each unit will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done.

Documents to Upload with Online Application Form

Candidates are required to upload the scanned copy of following documents:

# SSC or 10th or its equivalent mark sheet and Pass Certificate.

# Certificate for proof of date of birth.

# Consolidated mark sheet for all semesters of the trade in which applied / Provisional National Trade Certificate indicating marks.

# National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT /SCVT.

# Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

# Disability certificate, in case of PWD candidate.

# Discharge certificate / Serving certificate, in case of candidates applied against Ex-Servicemen quota.
