APSC JDO Eligibility Criteria 2025
Age Limit & Relaxation
The minimum age requirement is 21 years, and the maximum age is 38 years as of 01/01/2025. Category-wise age relaxation applies:
- SC/ST – 5 years
- OBC/MOBC – 3 years
- PwBD – 10 years
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized university. The degree should include at least one of the following subjects: Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Agricultural Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work, Business Administration, Business Management, Geography, or Commerce. Honours graduates will be given preference.
Residentship & Citizenship
Applicants must be Indian citizens as per Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India. Additionally, they must be permanent residents of Assam and provide either a Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) for educational purposes or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency.
