Eligibility Criteria for DEE Assam Recruitment 2025

Nationality

• Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and permanent resident of Assam.

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)

• General: 18 to 40 years

• OBC/MOBC: up to 43 years

• SC/ST(P)/ST(H): up to 45 years

• Ex-Servicemen: up to 42 years

• PwD: up to 50 years

Educational Qualification

For LP Schools (120 Posts)

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Special Education (RCI recognized).
  OR

• Graduation with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education) + ATET/CTET pass.

For UP Schools (108 Posts)

• Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. in Special Education (RCI recognized).

• Must have ATET/CTET certificate for UP level.

Salary of Special Educator under DEE Assam

• LP Schools: Rs. 14,000 – Rs. 70,000/- (PB-2) + GP Rs. 7400/- + allowances

• UP Schools: Rs. 14,000 – Rs. 70,000/- (PB-2) + GP Rs. 8700/- + allowances
