CTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
For Classes I to V (Primary Level)
- Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and Diploma in Elementary Education
- Senior Secondary with 45% marks as per NCTE norms
- 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
- Diploma in Special Education
- Graduation with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed.
For Classes VI to VIII (Upper Primary Level)
- Graduation with Diploma in Elementary Education
- Graduation with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed.
- 4-year B.El.Ed. / B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed.
- B.Ed. (Special Education)
- Candidates pursuing recognized teacher education courses are also eligible.
