The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam, has released the official notification of the Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2023. Polytechnic Admission Details

Name of course's: 3 Year Diploma Course/s

Name of test: Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2023

Academic session: 2023–2024

Test to be conducted by: Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam

Test centres:  State Govt. Engineering Colleges, State Polytechnics

Date of test: 11th or 18th or 25th June 2023 (Sunday)

Time of test: 10 AM to 12 Noon (2 Hours)

Type of questions: Multiple choice questions (MCQs)

Eligibility Criteria of Polytechnic Admission Test

Resident-ship: Candidate/s must be a permanent citizen of Assam.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must pass the H.S.L.C. or its equivalent examination in single sitting with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects. Candidates also must have passed individually in both Theory and Practical examinations in Mathematics and Science. 

 
The required minimum average percentage in Mathematics and Science is as mentioned below:

SC	35%
ST	33%

Age Limit: The category-wise maximum age limit as on 31st December 2023 is as given below.

UR and OBC/ MOBC	20 Years 6 Months
SC/ST	23 years 6 months
For Institutions outside Assam	20 Years 6 Months

Application Fee of PAT

Application Fee: The application fee of PAT 2022 is Rs 500/- plus bank charges as applicable. Online Payment Mode: Candidates can pay their online application fee via State Bank Collect, which accepts payments via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Offline Payment Mode: Candidates can pay their offline application through Cash Deposit form in cash at any State Bank of India branch.
