Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2023-24 : Notification
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has released the official notification of Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission Process for Academic Session 2023-24. The KV registration will start from March 27, 2023 10 am.Interested and eligible students may submit application for admission into Kendriya Vidyalaya.For more information like -eligibility criteria, application fee details, and other details provided below.

KVS Admission Age Limit
A Child must be 6 years old for Class I as on 31st March in the academic year in which admission is sought (Child born on 1st Aprils hould also be considered.)
The minimum and maximum age limit for admission in Kendriya
Vidyalayas in various classes is given below: (Child born on 1st Aprils hould also be considered.)
CLASS Minimum / Maximum Age as on 31st March of the Year in which admission is sought.
- 6 years but less than 08 years of age.
- 7 years but less than 09 years of age.
- 7 years but less than 09 years of age.
- 8 years but less than 10 years of age.
- 9 years but less than 11 years of age.
- 10 years but less than 12 years of age.
- 11 years but less than 13 years of age.
- 12 years but less than 14 years of age.
- 13 years but less than 15 years of age.
- 14 years but less than 16 years of age.
There is no age restriction for admission to Class XI provided the student is seeking admission in the year of passing Class X examination. Similarly, there will be no upper & lower age limit for admission to class XII provided there has been no break in the continuous study of the student after passing class XI.
KVS Application Form Fee
No registration fee is applicable.
Applicants can collect the application form from the school principal free of cost.
Documents Required For Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2023-24
Following documents are required at the time of admission-
# Birth Certificate (Age proof)
# Proof of relationship for Grandchildren of PSU employees and Members of Parliament.
# Proof of relationship for Grandchildren of KVS employees.
# Proof of residence
# Category certificate (SC/ST/EWS/OBC/BPL) .
# Certificate of retirement for uniformed defence employees.
# Certificate showing the no. of transfers during the preceding 7 years.
How to Register for KVS Admission 2023-24
1. Visit the official website i.e. https://www.kvsangathan.nic.in/.
2. KVS Admission Link- Now, now the homepage, click on KVS Online Admission Portal Link scrolling on the top of the page.
3. Click on Register Tab – Now, applicants will be redirected to a new page. On this admission portal click on “Register” tab.
4. Read Instructions – Now, read the important instructions carefully available English and Hindi both the languages, Mark the declaration box and click on Proceed Button.
5. Fill Details – Now, registration page will appear. Enter all the details in the space provided and click on “Register” button.
6. Verify OTP – Now, enter the OTP and verify it.
7. Registration is complete – Take the printout of the registration details by clicking on “Print” tab.
How to fill Fill KVS Admission Form Online 2023?
After completing the registration process, candidates have to proceed to fill application form. Check the complete online application process below:
1. Open the KVS admission portal and click on “Login Tab”.
2. Login page opens. On this page, enter Login code, DOB of child, mobile no. and captcha code. Proceed further by clicking on “Login tab”.
3. Application form will open. Start filling the details as asked in the form.
4. Fill Parents Detail and click “Next”
5. Fill choice of Schools. Choice can be filled only for Three KVs. After filing details click on “Next” button.
6. Upload the required documents.
7. After uploading documents click on submit button.
8. Verify OTP
9. Application will be submitted successfully. Click on “Print” tab and take printout of application for future references.
10. Applicants can also check application status by clicking on “Application Status”.
