Eligibility Criteria for DSE Assam Recruitment 2025

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)

• General: 18 to 40 years

• OBC/MOBC: +3 years

• SC/ST(P)/ST(H): +5 years

• Ex-Servicemen: +2 years

• PwD: +10 years

Educational Qualification

• Graduate/ Post Graduate from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks.

• B.Ed. (Special Education) recognized by RCI is mandatory.

• Distance/off-campus degrees will not be valid, except those from KKHSOU, IGNOU, IDOL (Gauhati University), and Distance Education (Dibrugarh University).

Other Conditions

• Must be a citizen of India and permanent resident of Assam.

• Must have Employment Exchange Registration in Assam.

• Must comply with Small Family Norms (no more than 2 children on or after 01.01.2021).

• Must qualify in the Teachers Eligibility Test cum Recruitment Test (TET-RT).

• Must be physically and mentally fit.
