About Nalbari College :

Nalbari College is one of the premier colleges of Assam. Established way back in pre-independent era (in 4th July, 1945), this college has taken a pioneering role in shaping and promoting higher education in the entire lower Brahmaputra valley. In the beginning, the college was affiliated to the Calcutta University, but in 1948, when Gauhati University was established, it came under the academic jurisdiction of the latter. The college received the UGC recognition under Section 2(f) in 1962. Beginning with a modest number of only 28 students, today it has a sizable strength of about 4420 students (including Higher Secondary programme). Spreading over 16 acres of land, the college has a built up area of approximately 8 acres.

Eligibility Criteria Of Nalbari College Job Recruitment

Education Qualification: Candidates having Ph. D degree in accordance with the UGC Regulation of 30th June, 2010 (minimum standard procedure for award of Ph. D degree Regulation, 2009) shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

Candidates having Ph. D degree in accordance with the UGC Regulation of 30th June, 2010 (minimum standard procedure for award of Ph. D degree Regulation, 2009) shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. The candidates must have to acquire qualification latest by the date of submission of their applications. Other eligibilities like M. Phil/Ph. D/ Seminar Paper/Publications can be acquired and may be submitted on the date of interview and not beyond.

# The candidates must have good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale) at the Master’s degree level in the concerned subject. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to SC/ST/PWD candidates.

Age Limit: The age of the candidates should not be more than 38 years as on 01.01.2022 with relaxation of 5 (five) years for SC/ST/PWD candidates, 3 (three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 10 years for PwD candidates.

# Candidates must have Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) and must know local language. 

# In service candidates must apply through proper channel with NOC obtained from the concerned authority. 

# The candidates from outsides of State are requested to go through Govt. Notification No. AHE.429/2021/Pt.3, dated 01-02-2022.
