The National Health Mission (NHM) Assam has recently announced 17 vacancies for the position of District Microbiologist on a contractual basis.Interested candidates can apply for these contractual positions by attending a walk-in interview on 12th April 2023.

Name of posts: District Microbiologist
No of posts: 17 posts
Remuneration:
- MD (Microbiology): Rs. 65,000/- pm with yearly increments.
- Medical Graduate with 2 Years in laboratory services: Rs. 40,000/- with yearly increments.
- M.Sc. (Microbiology): Rs.30,000/- with yearly increments.
Eligibility Criteria of NHM Recruitment
Education Qualification:
- Medical Graduate with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (preferably in Microbiology, Virology, Pathology and other lab sciences) Or
- Medical Graduate with 2 years experience in laboratory sciences Or
- M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Medical Microbiology.
- Experience of working in public health systems, implementation of laboratory quality assurance systems, assessing and organizing training programs and proven ability for planning and undertaking operational research would be desirable
