Eligibility Criteria of Assam Direct Recruitment 2022
The category-wise eligibility criteria has been mentioned below.
Grade-IV (Class-IV)
Qualification: Class VIII & HSLC or Equivalent passed
Vacancies: 9,000 & 4,300
Maximum Qualification: The maximum allowed educational qualification for Class-IV posts is HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examination passed. Candidates having qualification higher than maximum qualification are not eligible to apply for these vacancy.
Grade III (Category I)
Name of posts: Accountant, Cashier, Junior Assistant, LDA, Stenographer, etc.
No of posts: 8,331 posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/ Diploma of minimum 6 months duration can apply online for these posts.
Grade III (Category II)
Name of posts: Field Assistant, Fieldman, Foreman, Section Assistant, Soil Conservation Field Worker Junior, Agriculture Extension Officer, etc.
No of posts: 3,690 posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examinations. (Some specific posts need candidates to be class 12th passed from science stream.)

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination.

Other Details of Assam Direct Recruitment
Citizenship: Candidates must be a citizen of India.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must have register their name in any one of the employment exchanges of Assam.
NOC: Those candidates who are already in Government service should produce NOC (No
Objection Certificate) from the respective HoDs ( Heads of Departments) at the time of
the Computer/ Skill test.
Age Limit: The Candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2022.
The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the School/Matriculation/
HSLC Admit Card/ Certificate issued by a recognised Board/ Council/ schools/ or other
Government document, as applicable and notified.
Age Relaxation: The category wise upper age relaxation is as mentioned below.
(a) 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
(b) 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates.
(c) 2 years for Ex-Servicemen.
(d) 10 years for Persons with Disabilities candidates.
Application Fee:
All the applicants have to pay a nominal fee as application fee. The fee can be paid online using Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, NetBanking or Wallet.. The category-wise application fee is as mentioned below. Category Grade III Grade IV
UR/OBC/MOBC Rs.350/- Rs.200/-
SC/ST Rs.250/- Rs.150/-

How to Apply for Assam Direct Recruitment?
Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for these vacancy of Govt. of Assam under the 1 Lakh Employment Scheme initiated by Chief Minister of Assam. They may follow below mentioned steps to apply online.
i) Instructions for filling up prescribed online form shall be available in websitewww.sebaonline.org as well as in the official Assam Government website i.e. assam.gov.in from 11th of April 2022.
ii) The applications shall be received from 11th of April 2022 onwards upto 30th of May 2022.
iii) Candidates should fill up all the field in the online application which are marked mandatory.
iv) Candidates should be cautious while submitting the online application form. Once the
online application is submitted there will be no scope for editing / correction / resubmission.
v) After submitting the online application form, the candidate will get a unique number against
their submitted application and will utilize the unique number for all future references.
vi) Candidates may also note that for any lapse in submission of online application due to
technical problem, this office will not be responsible.
vii) The Admit Cards for attending the examination will be available for download from the
official website of the Commission. Date and time for the same shall be notified later.
