Eligibility Criteria of Finance Department Recruitment

Citizenship & Residency

• Candidate must be an Indian Citizen (Articles 5–8 of Constitution of India).

• Candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

• Must upload any one of the following as proof:

  • Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC)

  • Employment Exchange Registration Certificate

  • Voter ID Card (self/parents)

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized university.

• Preference: Candidates with Economics / Statistics / Mathematics.

• Other Qualification: Six-month Diploma in Computer Application is desirable.

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2025)

• Minimum: 21 years

• Maximum: 38 years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years

• OBC/MOBC: 3 years

• PwBD: 10 years

• Ex-Servicemen: Up to 50 years (with category relaxations)

• Govt. employees: Up to 45 years

Other Conditions

• Must be registered in an Employment Exchange of Assam.

• Must submit Small Family Norms Declaration (Form-A).

• PwBD candidates must upload disability certificate.

• Govt. employees must upload NOC for pay protection/continuity.
